In the second quarter of 2024, the top 5 travel and local apps in Hungary showcased varied performance metrics across downloads, active users, and revenue. Data from Sensor Tower reveals interesting trends for Vonatinfó, Booking.com: Hotels & Travel, Ryanair, Szallas.hu, and Wizz Air - Book, Travel & Save.

Vonatinfó had a notable increase in weekly downloads, starting at 5.9K in early April and peaking at 7.1K by the end of June. Weekly active users showed a slight dip initially, dropping from 43.5K to 38.5K in April, but rebounded to 45.1K by the end of the quarter.

Booking.com: Hotels & Travel experienced a consistent rise in weekly downloads, beginning at 4.6K and reaching a high of 8.7K in late June. Active users also saw a steady increase, growing from 83.3K to 111.8K over the quarter.

Ryanair showed fluctuating download numbers, with a low of 3.4K in late April and a high of 4.4K in late June. Active users followed a similar pattern, starting at 14.3K and ending the quarter at 16.5K.

Szallas.hu saw a gradual rise in downloads, from 2.3K in early April to 3.4K by the end of June. However, active user data for this app was not available.

Wizz Air - Book, Travel & Save demonstrated a similar trend, with weekly downloads ranging from 3.6K to 4.6K and active users increasing from 15.6K to 17.6K over the quarter.
